In this episode we make home DIY disinfectant wipes! A safe alternative to stay away from harsh chemicals.
You will need:
-Large glass container with tight lid- 32 oz or 4-6 Cups
-10-15 Cut squares from old t-shirts (I roughly did 10×10 inch squares)
-3/4 cup filtered water
-3/4 cup white distilled vinegar
-10 drops lemon or lemongrass essential oil
-8 drops lavender
-4 drops your choice: bergamot, eucalyptus, peppermint, tea tree, etc.
This is a link to where I got my essential oils. I think this is a great starting kit! It is not for internal use though so watch out (only external):
Aromatherapy Top 6 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade Basic Sampler Essential Oil Gift Set- 6/10 Ml (Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass, Orange, Peppermint)
Directions:
-Cut your cloth squares
-Mix all liquids in jar
-Bring and squeeze in your t shirt cloths
-Turn upside down if needed so that the liquid can reach all of your cloths
How to Use:
If the smell is strong simply do a pre-rinse and clean anything you like: stove, sink, toilet, floor, tables, etc. It leaves everything nice and clean! If you used it lightly just rinse it and return it to the jar. If not rinse and thrown in the washer with other clothes and then return it to the jar.
How long will it last?
Depending on how often and for what duties you use it, this should last 2-3 months before your liquid and essential oil power is used up. Create a new liquid mix when you see fit and bring in your cloths.
Have fun!
